We know… we know… Karahi cooking screams meat, but that doesn’t mean vegetarians can’t get in on the fun too! We’ve got a selection of vegetarian specials that are just as delicious and flavorful as our famous meat dishes. So if you’re a vegetarian or just a veggie lover (hey, it happens), it’s time to pay Karahi Boys a visit! From creamy paneer dishes to hearty chana masala, our veggie dishes are best enjoyed with some freshly baked naan or fluffy basmati rice.
So let’s take a closer look at some of KB vegetarian specials!
First up on the list is our delicious Moti Mahal Paneer Karahi. Rich cubes of paneer are cooked in a spicy tomato-based masala with bell peppers, onions, and garlic & ginger. The paneer is then simmered in a karahi along with a blend of ground spices to give it that distinct karahi flavor. And finally finished off with a sprinkle of fresh coriander leaves and a squeeze of lemon juice.
For all the paneer lovers out there, our Palak Paneer is a must-try as well. It’s made by blending fresh spinach leaves into a smooth paste and cooking it with paneer cubes in a rich tomato-based sauce. The dish is flavored with a blend of spices and finished off with a dollop of cream on top. Best enjoyed with naan or boiled rice.
Lahori Chana Masala
Lahori Chana Masala, a beloved street food from the vibrant city of Lahore, is a delicious chickpea curry often served with freshly fried pooris or naans (a much-loved breakfast special). Our version of this classic dish is authentic and bursting with flavor – the chickpeas are simmered until they are melt-in-your-mouth tender and infused with a blend of aromatic spices.
Anarkali Bhindi (Okra)
A delicious Pakistani & North Indian meal featuring bhindi, a blend of whole & ground masalas, onions, and tomatoes. The okra is cooked until it’s slightly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and the dish is finished off with a squeeze of lemon juice.
All of these vegetarian specials are made with the same care and attention to detail as KB meat dishes. The ingredients used are fresh and the spices are carefully added to give each dish its unique flavor. The dishes are also cooked in a traditional karahi, which adds an authentic touch to the food.
